Don't waste your time buying this online. It arrives broken into a million little crumbs and pieces. Not something that should be shipped. Just go and buy one at Walgreens.

The house itself is pretty sturdy and packed well. The gingerbread trees and men however are just plastic wrapped and sitting on top of the wrapped house. The men were fractured into several pieces. The trees were mostly whole but easily broke when I carefully tried to open them. The kids snacked on the cookies while decorating the house. There's a good selection of candy for decorating and plenty of frosting, but I have to agree with others - look for this kit locally. The fact that it was pre-built was a seller for me. I don't have the time or patience to glue the house together and the kids really only want to decorate. The product itself is great and I would definately recommend it - just don't get it through the mail :)

The 2 gingerbread men and 2 gingerbread trees arrived broken in pieces. A corner of the roof was also broken off. This item was not packaged well enough for shipping. You'd be better off buying one off the shelf.
